Laurent Desfossés
Founding Managing Partner
Laurent co-founded Committed Advisors in 2010 with a vision of building an independent, client-focused private equity solutions firm with global reach. He has over 25 years of experience in private equity investing and secondary transactions, having previously held senior roles at a leading European fund of funds. Laurent leads the firm's strategic direction and oversees the Investment Committee.
Miriam Keller-Strauss
Managing Partner, Secondaries
Miriam joined Committed Advisors in 2012 and leads the firm's secondary transactions practice. She brings 20 years of experience in pricing, structuring and executing LP portfolio sales and GP-led transactions across Europe and North America. Miriam is a recognised expert in GP-led restructurings and has spoken at major industry conferences on the evolution of the secondary market.
David Okonkwo
Partner, Co-Investments
David oversees Committed Advisors' co-investment programme, managing deal sourcing, due diligence and execution for direct investment opportunities alongside the firm's GP network. He spent 12 years at a global private equity buyout firm before joining Committed Advisors in 2015. David's sector focus spans technology-enabled services, healthcare and industrial businesses.
Sophie Andersen-Wihl
Partner, Investor Relations & Business Development
Sophie is responsible for managing Committed Advisors' relationships with its institutional investor base and for developing new investor partnerships across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. She has 18 years of experience in private equity fundraising and investor relations, including prior roles at two pan-European alternative asset managers. Sophie holds an MBA from INSEAD and is fluent in four languages.
James Thornbury
Chief Risk & Operating Officer
James oversees Committed Advisors' risk management framework, operations, compliance and finance functions, ensuring the firm maintains the governance standards expected by its institutional clients. He joined the firm in 2013 from a leading audit and advisory practice where he specialised in alternative asset managers. James chairs the firm's Operational Risk Committee and leads all regulatory engagement.
